"Brahma's Pushkar" a Coffee Table book was conceptualized by photographer Rajan Kapoor and the text and design was provided by Historian Aman Nath.

A small town Pushkar, 12 kms, from Ajmer in Rajasthan, is one of the most important cultural & religious centres in India. It is believed that, in seeking an earthly abode, Brahma scattered lotus petals from which three lakes were formed. Identified with his lotus, this site came to be called Pushkar.

The Pushkar mela, held around the Kartik Purnima (Full moon night) attracts millions of people from around the world. The fascinating hues, sights, sounds & smell of this unique fair attracted Rajan Kapoor & he decided to produce a Coffee Table book on Pushkar & the envisions.
